Delighted to have two durational-day-drawings in the RWA Biennial Paper Works exhibition. This is an inspiring show of works on paper, beautifully hung - such a variety of approaches and ideas using paper.
These process based drawings I am showing for the first time, continue my exploration of landscape, time and transience. The works are made in, of and about the landscape; the result of a particular set of conditions, in a particular place, over a particular span of time. They record celestial time, geological time and human time as well as the weather patterns unique to the days and sites.
Running in conjunction to this exhibtion is a comprehensive study of pioneering modernist Paule Vezelay.
