RA Summer Exhibition: London

I am delighted to say that I will have this sculpture shown in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2023.

Made from cast iron it captures the briefest of moments as the sun's at its zenith on a particular day, in a particular place, at a particular time. This is the shadow of an ancient and now absent rock I found on parallel #60 on Shetland. It is part of a body of work which will be shown in a solo show this autumn at the Somerset Rural Life Museum in Glastonbury, exploring themes of time and transience.
