Commissioned by Mowlem for 100 Brompton Road, London. 2003.
A technically challenging and innovative sculpture using 127 sheets of low iron glass, bonded with a two part silicone adhesive. There are no internal fixing rods and the red tear drop appears to hover within the still inner volume of the form. Lit from behind at night it has a quiet yet magnetic presence, situated on the pavement directly opposite Harrods department store.
